St Mary School – Spaghetti Lunch

This year in October the Trenton Lions Club hosted a Spaghetti Lunch for the students of St Mary School (situated right next door), at their Hall on College St.

The Lions Club provides all the food and drink (juice boxes) and their volunteers cook the Spaghetti and Sauce. The Lions volunteers plate up the food, and oversee activities.

The Knights of Council 2438 come and support this event. The Knights assist in delivering the food to the tables, handing out drinks, cleaning tables, etc. There are three (3) settings over the course of the morning, to accommodate all the students (about 350 in total).

This year there were six (6) Brother Knights on hand.

Also on hand are volunteers from the Parent/Teacher Council. And the Teachers of the students.

The children look forward to this event and are very thankful for the food and drink, and express their thanks to the Lions/Knights of Columbus/Parents/Teachers.
