Food For Families

St Peter’s Council 2438 held a Food Drive in conjunction with the King of Kings Movie, which was being held on Saturday March 28th at 1pm at the Centre Theatre in downtown Trenton.

Parishioners who were not attending the movie could bring their food donations to St Peter’s Church at Sat 5pm Mass or at the 9am Mass and 11am Mass on Sunday March 29th.

All of the food donations will be collected and loaded into the Trenton Care and Share Food Bank’s Van, which will be parked outside the Church.

The donated food will be delivered to the Food Bank on Monday March 30th, where it will be weighed.

The Food Bank is designating a Shelf for the Knights of Columbus. Users of the Food Bank will see same when they come to pick up their needed food.

Council 2438 has been a long term donor to the Trenton Care and Share Food Bank.

Brother Gary Tobin reported that we collected 795 pounds of food, and cash/cheque donations totalling $360.00
