Feb 15 2026 was the 61st Anniversary of the raising of the Canadian Flag.
At St Peter’s Church, our Faithful Navigator (Anthony Kester) was accompanied by two Sir Knights as Colour Guards and 2 Sir Knights carrying the Canadian Flag and the Knights of Columbus Flag.
Before the start of 9AM Mass, our Faithful Navigator addressed the congregation from the pulpit, explaining the significance of the Flag and the event unfolding.
The Flags were marched up the centre aisle at the start of 9 AM Mass, where they were placed on the Altar.
The flags remained on the Altar, and at the end of 11AM Mass, they were removed form the Altar, and marched back down the aisle.
The Faithful Navigator and others went to a local restaurant for a post event meal.
