SUMMARY:Life Chain - Oct 2025
DESCRIPTION:Every October this event is held simultaneously in approximately 350 Parishes across the Country. \nThis year’s event was held on Sunday\, October 5th from 2pm to 3pm. \nParticipants in Trenton stand on Dundas St and quietly hold placards to bear witness to the sanctity of life\, and oppose the harmful effects of Abortion. \nThis year there eight (8) Knights in attendance\, as well as Father Paul Finn\, Deacon Bob Fencott\, and 9 Parishioners. \nThanks to the Brother Knights who participated. \nPatrick Goodmurphy\, Eric Camolese\, Zibby Rolka\, Ted Kornblum\, Germain Loignon\, Don Babineau\, Gilles Larrivee \nand Dr Koshy. \n

SUMMARY:St Mary School - Spaghetti Lunch
DESCRIPTION:This year in October the Trenton Lions Club hosted a Spaghetti Lunch for the students of St Mary School (situated right next door)\, at their Hall on College St. \nThe Lions Club provides all the food and drink (juice boxes) and their volunteers cook the Spaghetti and Sauce. The Lions volunteers plate up the food\, and oversee activities. \nThe Knights of Council 2438 come and support this event. The Knights assist in delivering the food to the tables\, handing out drinks\, cleaning tables\, etc. There are three (3) settings over the course of the morning\, to accommodate all the students (about 350 in total). \nThis year there were six (6) Brother Knights on hand. \nAlso on hand are volunteers from the Parent/Teacher Council. And the Teachers of the students. \nThe children look forward to this event and are very thankful for the food and drink\, and express their thanks to the Lions/Knights of Columbus/Parents/Teachers. \nThe Knights financially support the event. \nThanks to the Knights who came out to help \nPatrick Goodmurphy\, Terry Whalen\, Gary Tobin\, John McDonald\, Terry Gallagher\, and Tony Poole \n
